My name is Vergil Moriarty, the Infamous Plague Doctor Shade, but you can simply call me Shade for short. Welcome to my personal pocket Dimension, The Visual Void.It is a place of dark magic, eldritch wonder and occult interest. Stay a while, it welcomes all who are willing!What do I do?
Aside from being a plague doctor enthusiast, I consider myself many things. As an artist who wears many hats, its hard to narrow down just one thing, as I am not just one thing.I am a Voice Actor with a varied and wide range, from high to low, young to old. The concepts and ideas are endless, much like the void itself!I am Writer who loves fantasy most, but will be inclined to pen a tragedy, with dark, comedic undertones and deeper themes of the human spirit. So simple, yet so complex at the same time.I am also a Streamer, and overall Content Creator in my free time. Learning and knowing audio and video editing has been good fun and was a way enhance the other things that I enjoy doing.Does a service interest you?

About:
Ever since I was a wee lad, I have always loved watching and playing through various media where characters were a huge part of them. I love listening to their voices, seeing or interacting with their stories. Predominantly I have done this through Video Games, which have had a major impact in my life. Even through my years in school, gaming has always been a huge aspect of my lifestyle, and I've always thought to myself 'I wonder if I could be a character in a game'.Being an only child, often told to focus on my studies, I often did not have a lot of time to interface socially with friends. But what I did have was the internet and games, and one particular one that stood out to me was Dark Souls. The melancholy that followed the theme of the game and the Voice Acting of the characters that you interacted with has made a major impact into me wanting to be a writer and voice actor overall. There of course were MANY many other games that helped in this leap, but Dark Souls is by far the biggest contributor.Around the cusp of 2024 and 2025, after my place of work shut-down, I was decided to take a stab at trying to seriously step into the VA world, and re-engage my acting abilities. While videogames, anime and other various shows are what inspired me (and keep inspiring me) to do Voice Over work, my depth has expanded, as has my knowledge of the field. Each Genre of Voice Over may be different, from Character Acting to Commercial work. No matter what it is, there is always something unique and interesting one can bring to a role. That is something that I will always strive to do.

Below are my terms as a VA. If theres are not met, I will not be working with you.Terms of Service:
- For any type of VA work, payment can be discussed, but I often determine payment via the type of job I do, the work involved, the length of the project, and its complexity.- For commission-based work, once discussions have ended, I will be paid half up front, and half upon the job's completion.- I am allowed to use these commissions to advertise for my own work, as you are allowed to advertise for yours.- I, as a VA, recognize that not all jobs I apply for will have payment. I am perfectly okay with that.- I DO NOT consent to the use of my voice being generated with AI to be used for anything, especially financial gain.Below is a Character Demo Reel, showing off examples of just some of the voices I can do.
By agreeing to use my voice and use me as a voice actor for Paid Work, you agree to the following:- If my price rates change after a price has already been agreed on by both me and the client for a commission/gig, don't worry. Previous rates will be honored for the commission.
- The set prices cannot be haggled down (Pre-set prices for contracts are different)
- I hold the right to refuse any commission
- All payments are final
- Yes, tips are accepted
- By commissioning me, you accept these terms
- It is your responsibility to read these terms, otherwise it is out of my control if you do not
- Payments are made with USD and Tax must be accounted for through method (Ex: Paypal's Tax)Prices (as of 7/06/25):
- Short Term Projects: $ 0.50 per line (depending on role and complexity)- Long Term Projects: $1 per line (depending on role and complexity)- Self-Edits (Outside of Noise Reduction and Breathing Gap Removal): Additional $ 0.50 per line.- Payment done by the Hour: The lowest I will go is 40$ per hour, 50$ if I have to do all the audio edits myself outside of noise reduction and removal of breathing gaps.
